Friday night, March 28, eight young women proudly represented their high school in the Van Wert Peony Pageant where they competed for the title of Queen Jubilee 50. Candidates had already been scored on a video essay as well as their preliminary interview. During the live pageant, a panel of three judges scored candidates in the additional categories of Talent, Evening Gown Promenade, and On-Stage Question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queen Jubilee 50<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avery Altenberger<\/em><\/strong> of Delphos St. Johns, daughter of Brian and Michelle Altenberger. Avery was also named People’s Choice. She will receive over $1,500 in scholarships and other prizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st Runner Up and Talent Winner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mia Rager<\/em><\/strong> of Van Wert High School, daughter of Nathan and Debbie Rager.  Mia will receive a $1,000 scholarship for being named 1st Runner Up, and an additional $500 as the talent winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2nd Runner Up and Most Photogenic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ella Davis<\/em><\/strong> of Lincolnview, daughter of Tom and Amber Davis.  Ella will receive a $750  scholarship for being named as 2nd runner up and an additional $100 scholarship as Most Photogenic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Congeniality:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kinsley Kemper<\/em><\/strong> of Ottoville High School, daughter of Terry and Kelly Kemper.  She will receive an additional $300 scholarship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Involvement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allison Noggle<\/em><\/strong> of Wayne Trace High School, daughter of Matthew and Erica Noggle.  She will receive an additional $300 scholarship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Candidates: receiving a $300 scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shay Boroff<\/em><\/strong> of Parkway, daughter of John and Sheila Boroff<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Libby Dotterer<\/em><\/strong> of Paulding, daughter of David Dotterer and Theresa Ratliff-Dotterer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McKenna Scalf<\/em><\/strong> representing Vantage Career Center, daughter of Scott Scalf and Melissa Scalf<\/p>\n\n\n\n
