Varner<\/strong>, age 84, formerly of Paulding, OH passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at CHP Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, OH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linda was born on November 7, 1940 in Paulding, OH to the late Galen and Florence (Lantz) Brewer. On November 28, 1958, she married Fred W. &#8220;Bill&#8221; Varner who preceded her in death in 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linda worked as an office manager for the Paulding County Engineer&#8217;s Office for 15 years and worked for attorney Harvey Hyman for many years as well. She was a member of the Paulding Eagles Aerie 2405 Ladies Auxiliary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is survived by her sons, Rick (Karen) Varner, Paulding, OH and Randy (Sara) Varner, Defiance, OH; brother Terry Brewer, Defiance, OH; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linda was also preceded in death by her son, Ron Varner and grandson, Brett Varner; brother, Larry Brewer and sisters Nancy Eitniear and Susan Keeler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, OH. Burial will be in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, February 10, 2025 and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Memorial contributions may be made in Linda&#8217;s memory to a charity of the donor&#8217;s choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Condolences may be shared at www.denherderfh.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEFIANCE, OH:&nbsp; Linda L.
