Getting old is not fun. It\u2019s good to be alive but I think the headlights on my (car) body have gone out. My headlights on this old body are my eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes those nasty little growths that dim the eyes of a lot of us seniors have made their home in my eyes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I was never  too concerned about my eyes until my vision got blurry in my right eye. Oh my I panicked and got into an eye Dr. later that night.  After testing my eyes, they discovered a cataract on my eye that apparently had been there for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had noticed my eyesight getting worse but attributed it to old age. I was referred to an eye surgeon in Lima who scheduled me to get the right eye done on Dec 17 and then the left one on Dec 19.  I do all of my writing on my phone and I can see some out of the right eye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank God for His mercy. My sweetie Denny has been taking me to appointments but I hollar at his driving saying, \u201cWatch out for that car coming, I can\u2019t see.\u201d Luckily he replies, \u201cUmm Well I can.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The things I enjoy doing are limited right now but I can see the TV and see some on my phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
