Made up of 10 members on stage\u00a0from the tri-star area, this band has remained\u00a0a holiday tradition for\u00a0families and individuals \u00a0that have attended their concerts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to founding member and band manager David Coonrod of Defiance Ohio,\u00a0the band started as a church praise band after a\u00a0parishioner suggested they learn a few (TSO) Trans Siberian Orchestra songs for Christmas. They tried it, and their first official event started in 2006. \u201cWe have kept it open and free to the public (for most venues),\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s a way for people who can\u2019t afford to see the big TSO show. We wanted a Christmas show they can take the whole family to and not break the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The band is scheduled every weekend from now until December 22. Every year we have added more songs, expanded the light show to include lasers, and new sound equipment and live TV cameras along with multiple video projection screens,\u201d said Garnett McGladdery, lead singer, creative musical director and electric guitar player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Siberian Solstice will be in concert in Hicksville at the Huber Opera House on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\u00a0more information and a complete list of their tour dates and locations, including sample videos of their performances visit: www.siberiansolstice.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Siberian Solstice, a Trans Siberian\u00a0Orchestra Tribute band, is beginning its 18th season on the road this year.
