Director Gail Gilbert’s inspiring tale of special needs puppies touches the audience’s hearts<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PUPPY LOVE is the story of Labrador puppies stricken with a paralysis and neurologic disorder after their regular puppy vaccinations. The storyline follows the breeder,dog owners and even the filmmakers who adopt one of the pups as they use a special diet and physical therapy to bring them back to their true retriever ability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PUPPY LOVE documentary, produced by Cerise Films of Chicago, is an exciting and inspiring documentary written and directed by Gail Gilbert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movie will screen at a special presentation on Saturday, August 17 along with green DogGoods, a family-owned and operated local Fort Wayne business and trusted source for natural pet products, dog training, education, and support for over 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA healthy litter of purebred pups suddenly become paralyzed and the vets say they should be euthanized,” explains writer-director Gilbert. The documentary follows a literal \u201clife and death\u201d struggle and everything from chicken soup to Chinese herbs are used to nurse the pups back to health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“PUPPY LOVE is more than a movie about dogs — it’s a universal story about the power of love and commitment in everything we do,” said Gilbert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe feel-good movie of the year!\u201d according to celebrated author Dorothy Marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
