The Western Buckeye ESC hosted the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship Program on March 6th at the Vantage Career Center.  The individual district winners are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAULDING COUNTY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aewyn McMichael, Antwerp <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malia Manz (county winner), Paulding<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma Laukhuf, Wayne Trace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VAN WERT COUNTY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cadence Cook (county winner), Crestview<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy Chavez, Lincolnview<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Kramer, Van Wert<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As county winners, Malia Manz and Cadence Cook both received $500 scholarships from the Western Buckeye ESC. The rest of the students received $100 scholarships for being selected as their district representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malia Manz and Cadence Cook will both be recognized at an Awards Luncheon in Columbus in April hosted by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following businesses and individuals contributed to this awards program:  Avangrid Renewables, Paulding Fraternal Order of Eagles, Paulding Kiwanis, Jan Kohart, Jordan & Tricia Taylor, Thomas Taylor and an anonymous local foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
