Xander Schwab has been invited to compete at the National Academic Quiz Tournament (NAQT\u2019s) 2024 Individual Player National Championship Tournament in Chicago on April 7, 2024. This year, PHS qualified for NAQT\u2019s Small School National Championship Tournament in late April and will be competing as a team, thanks in part to Xander\u2019s performance at the Toledo Area Academic Quiz Bowl Tournament in December; however, the Individual Player National Championship Tournament is a separate event, one that only Xander was invited to. He joined Quiz Bowl last year as a freshman, and while he has always been a strong player, he has grown throughout the fall league. Last winter, Xander scored an average of 30 points per game, which placed him 4th in the GMC JV rankings overall. However, this fall, he scored an average of 59 points per game and scored the second-highest total points in the JV Division!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
