ANTWERP, OH:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raymond Gross<\/strong>, 92, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at The Manor, Antwerp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray was born in Dry Hill, Leslie County, Kentucky on January 13, 1931, a son of the late Verna (Callahan) and Clayton Gross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray was a friend to everyone he knew. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ray was never without the love of his life, Grace and his family. He was a meticulous house painter, who also worked at Phelps Dodge. Ray was an avid fisherman and a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Grace (Jordan); children, Raymond, Jr. (Julia) Gross, Sharon (Dale) Hicov, Gary (Carolyn) Gross & Marsha (Bob) Cross; siblings, Dorothy Throne, Virginia (Ernie) Dickey, Winston (Rita) Gross, Lowell (Teresa) Gross, Gar (Carol) Gross, Sally Gross, and Steve (Wanda) Gross.; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray is also preceded in death by his son, Ronald and siblings, William, Frank & Lawrence Gross and  Christine Corwin & Sandra Metz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viewing is Wednesday, January 3rd, 4 to 6:30 PM with a Masonic Service at 6:30 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray’s funeral service is Thursday, January 4th 10:30 AM, with viewing 9:30 to 10:15 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 126 W. River Street, Antwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will be laid to rest in  Maumee Cemetery Antwerp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
