The Paulding FFA gets in the Christmas spirit early in late October when a group of members go and assist the Paulding Historical Society with the setup of their Christmas trees for the annual festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Paulding FFA officers then put together their own tree as a team following the theme for the year. This year\u2019s theme was a story book Christmas and we focused on children\u2019s Christmas books that involved agriculture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year the FFA tree received the most donations in their can to contribute back to the historical society. Then each year in late November the Paulding FFA participates in Paulding County Adopt a Family Program. This year a group of 12 members went to Walmart and went shopping for four children from the ages of 6 to 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are some of our favorite community service events where we get to help our local community and live by the FFA motto \u201cLiving to Serve.\u201d Once all the gifts were bought we had a group of 18 members help to wrap and label all gifts for the children to have a wonderful Christmas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then in early December a group of 17 members met at the historical society to put away all the trees in storage from the festival until next year. Finally, in class on Friday FFA members were served hot chocolate, decorated sugar cookies and constructed and decorated gingerbread houses as our FFA chapter Christmas celebration.  We are so happy to partner with many community organizations to assist others and volunteer in our community. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
