Van Wert, OH Off Stage Productions Inc. is proud to announce the cast and crew for our Fall 2023 Dinner Theatre production of \u201cFour Old Broads\u201d, a comedy by Leslie Kimball. Director Matt Krol is pleased to welcome six veteran Off Stage actors who will be familiar to audiences of recent shows, one actor returning to Off Stage after more than a decade, and one who is making her Community Theatre debut! The cast is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beatrice Shelton: a former Burlesque star Amy McConn <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eaddy Mae Clayton: a former nurse Mary Weisman <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imogene Fletcher: the newest resident Connie Friemering <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pat Jones: a rude and pushy nurse Michelle Foster <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maude Jenkins: soap opera obsessed Senior Stephanie Wagner <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam Smith: retired Elvis impersonator & Cassanova Dan Bulau  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruby Sue Bennett: quiet, romance-loving nurse Jennifer Rigdon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexia\/Lurleen: soap opera actress\/emcee Julie Miller <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carlton: soap opera actor Matt Krol <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retired burlesque queen Beatrice Shelton desperately needs a vacation \u2013 and NOT another trip up to Helen, Georgia to see that \u201cprecious little German village for the umpteenth time.\u201d A Sassy Seniors Cruise through the Caribbean may be just the ticket if she can just convince her best friend, Eaddy Mae Clayton, to stop praying and go with her. Unfortunately, things have not been very pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat Jones began working there. The newest resident, Imogene Fletcher, is suddenly losing her memory. Maude Jenkins is obsessed with her favorite soap opera and planning her own funeral. Sam Smith, retired Elvis impersonator, keeps trying to bed every woman in the building. A mystery unfolds with laughter as the gals try to outsmart the evil Nurse Pat Jones and figure out why so many residents have been moved to \u201cthe dark side,\u201d what exactly IS that mysterious pill, and what happened to Doctor Head? Hilarity ensues as Imogene goes undercover and Maude enters the Miss Magnolia Senior Citizen Pageant to throw Pat off their trail. If they can solve the mystery, they may make it to the cruise ship after all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performances will once again be held in the commons area at Vantage Career Center.  Enter door 14 off the back parking lot where plenty of parking is available.  Show dates are October 20, 21 ,22, and 27, 28, & 29, 2023.  Friday shows are \u201cPopcorn Nights\u201d – $16 admission charge includes free popcorn with the show.  Saturday evening and Sunday Matinee shows are Dinner Theatre — $30 Admission includes a delicious three course catered meal, coffee, and this wonderful show! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
