If you’ve ever visited, lived in, or driven past Latty, Ohio on Routes 613 or 127, come and see what’s happening in this small but active community.  Sponsored by Latty area churches, a second Community Festival is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Latty Town Hall and Park.  (There is no rain date.)  The event will be from 11 am – 3 pm and is organized by members of The Latty Apostolic Christian, Friends United Methodist, and Latty Zion Baptist churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival begins at 11 am at the Latty Town Hall with a flag-raising ceremony by local Boy Scouts, a brief welcome and recognition of Honorary citizens of the community.  The festival will then move to the Latty Pavilion where there will be a registration table for door prizes that will be given away throughout the day.  A picnic lunch with drink and dessert will be provided by the church members.  Guests are asked to bring their lawn chairs. Handicap parking will be available as well as golf cart shuttles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the lunch there will be activities for all ages including a Bouncy House, face painting, games, corn hole,  musical performances by area musicians, and “sing – alongs”.  Education Road will have information and activities from several local organizations available throughout the day, including Paulding County Amateur Radio Club, Paulding Putnam Safety Demonstration, Power 2 Change, Lifewise Academy, EMA, Fire Truck, and EMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizers hope the community comes out to enjoy the festivities, see old friends and make some new ones.  There will also be an opportunity to donate to the Latty Youth Foundation throughout the day in support of upgrading and maintaining the Latty Park!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
