There were 34 students who qualified for the drawing for a car at WT\u2019s Relay For Life.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wayne Trace Junior-Senior High School is wrapping up its 2022-2023 school year with a variety of PBIS activities and give-aways, thanks to our local sponsors including Integrity Ford, R&L Truss, Fiesta Habaneros, Samaritan Foundation, Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative, Van Wert Savings Bank, First Financial Bank, Paragon Tempered Glass, Cooper Farms, Grover Hill VFW, Van Wert Cinemas, Danfoss Power Solutions, and the Sorensen Family.  PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is an evidence-based framework used in Ohio districts and schools throughout the country to improve academic, social, and behavior outcomes for all students.  The Raider PBIS system included an attendance incentive with a 2011 Ford Fusion car giveaway and quarterly rewards drawings that included approximately 75 prizes every nine weeks. The quarterly prize raffles were for students in grades 7 through 12 who earned tickets throughout the year by demonstrating their Respectfulness, Responsibility, and Readiness. This year\u2019s grand prize raffle item was a stay at a Hocking Hills AirBnB donated by the Sorensen family and was won by freshman Eric Reihnart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to be eligible for the car giveaway sponsored by Integrity Ford, students age 16 and older were required to meet a specific criteria for outstanding attendance.  The drawing for this car took place during the Raider\u2019s Relay for Life, with 34 students qualifying for the prize.  Pictured with the car are these 34 qualifiers and winner, junior Kyren Karhoff, shook hands with Integrity Ford General manager, Rick Greear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
