Monday April 10th started the week with some drier and warmer spring weather and high school softball action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosting at the Raider fields, Wayne Trace softball met the Heritage Lady Patriots on the mound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Patriots crossed the state line and were ready to play. It took both teams the first four innings to get warmed up as it was a scoreless game till then. Heritage put 2 runs on the scoreboard at the top of the 5th inning. This lead was kept through the 6th, and then in the 7th, the Lady Raiders made a rally attempt in the bottom of the 7th with 3 runs, but the Patriots gained 3 runs in the top of the 7th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
