Ms. Klaire Smith will be partnering with the school art program and working directly with art teachers Mr. Chris Gaghan and Mr. Joey Stevenson.&nbsp; Ms. Smith will spend 20 days with students during art classes and will also spend time with 21st Century After-School Program students.&nbsp; Ms. Smith is from southern Ohio and graduated in 2016 from the University of Rio Grande with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree. She is a multimedia artist who specializes in murals. Prior to her arrival and throughout her residency, Ms. Smith will be working on design aspects of a mural that will be ready for public viewing at the Spring Art Show.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hicksville Schools will be welcoming an Artist in Residence thanks to a grant from The Ohio Arts Council.
