Senior VJ Beachem (shown above dunking the ball), senior, was also honored for his 1000 career total.<br \/>\nEvery year Leo and New Haven compete for the \u201cOld Leather Ball\u201d trophy. Leo has taken it 46 times and New Haven previously had won 45 times. It was a big game for New Haven and Leo. The varsity game started off with Leo scoring the first basket, but soon New Haven was ten points ahead. New Haven finished with a 100-57 win against the Lions and tied up the win for the trophy.
