Mark your calendars for Mercer Landmark\u2019s First Annual AGrow Expo on Saturday, September 10th. This all-day event includes a full morning and afternoon packed with a series of educational breakout sessions for local farmers and an evening full of food, family and fun to celebrate agriculture in our communities. The AGrow Expo will be held at Mercer Landmark\u2019s new Latty Agronomy facility \u2013 1 mile east of HWY 127 on OH-613 in Paulding County. Local farmers and community members will be able to come learn, network and enjoy tours of the new 24-acre site development.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION FOR ALL FARM OPERATIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The daytime portion of The AGrow Expo includes breakfast and\/or lunch, and will focus on a variety of educational topics. Local farmers will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainable agriculture and farming practices that will minimize risk and maximize return on their farms. This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keynote address from Mercer Landmark\u2019s CEO, Heath Barnes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees can expect to hear from experts in the Feed, Agronomy, Energy and Grain business units at Mercer Landmark, as well as other industry leaders from Winfield United, CHS Hedging LLC, Truterra, Land \u2018O Lakes, Heartland Feed Services and more. Those who attend the daytime portion of The AGrow Expo will also have the opportunity to visit with some of the best equipment and ag dealers in the area and view the latest and greatest technology. COMMUNITY CELEBRATION \u2013 FOOD TRUCKS, LIVE MUSIC AND FREE ACTIVITIES FOR THE FAMILY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AGrow Expo will open to the public at 5:30 PM. Mercer Landmark invites community members to come out and enjoy an evening of food, family and fun to celebrate agriculture in our communities and the grand opening of their new Latty agronomy facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be live music all evening until 10:00 PM \u2013 starting with Jay and Julia Reithman and followed by Forty Acre – JoJo McZunk Band. FREE rides, inflatables, face painting, axe throwing and other kids activities will be available. Community members can purchase dinner or an evening snack from a variety of local food trucks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
