Deadlines have come and gone, food vendors, craft vendors and direct sales vendors, business vendors are all signed up and ready for 2022 Day in the Park – Island Vibes! on August 13th. 50\/50 tickets are printed, silent auction items are being donated, and Cutie Pie submissions are being received daily! Antwerp Chamber met in their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 20th to finalize all plans for Day in the Park. Gem of the Year was decided (look for their feature in an upcoming issue!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the craft and direct sales vendors, this year Day in the Park is offering something new for attendees of Day in the Park \u2014 Young Makers\u2019 Market. This new category is for the young entrepreneurs in our midst (children and youth up thru 16 years old) who want to exhibit their wares to the public. If you are a young entrepreneur, contact Mike Schneider at 419-506-1035 to reserve your space for August 13th. Keep a look out for the updated Vendor Form on antwerpchamber.com or Antwerp chamber of commerce Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget about the Parade! This year\u2019s theme is Island Vibes. Think \u201c6 Days, 7 Nights\u201d, \u201cCastaway\u201d, \u201cGilligan\u2019s Island\u201d, \u201cLost\u201d, \u201cThe Rock\u201d, \u201cBig Hero 6\u201d, \u201cJurassic Park\u201d \u2026 you get the idea. We want to see some creative ideas about Islands for the parade. Contact Audrey Feasby at 419-506-0030 to register for this year\u2019s parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
