Mark your calendar for the 75th annual Harlan Days Festival. The dates are August 4, 5, and 6. Fan favorite Demolition Derby Soccer returns on Saturday night in the arena at 7:30. If you haven\u2019t seen it, drivers crash and compete over a six-foot soccer ball while excavators play goalie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Thursday evening event is Horse Barrel Racing and Friday evening is side-by-side Drag Racing. Children 5 and under are free. Don\u2019t miss the fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harlan Park will be full of activities all festival long. Carnival rides open at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Grab some food from one of the ten food trucks or visit the food pavilion for some home-cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watch as athletes complete in softball, volleyball, pickleball, cornhole, and basketball tourneys. Take a seat and enjoy some live music at the old stage all three evenings. We promise the park will be full of family fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join the Harlan Christian Youth Center for two free events on Thursday night. Make a float and join the Youth Parade walking the festival midway at 6:00 p.m. Children are then invited for a K-6 kickball game at 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
