The Heritage Lions are continuing to collect used eyeglasses (including sunglasses, reading glasses and even broken glasses), eyeglass cases, cell phones, hearing aids and batteries. This is a year-around project in which the Lions clean and sort these donations as they are passed through an extensive distribution network. The glasses eventually are taken on mission trips in poor countries, giving sight to those who otherwise could never see properly. Cell phones, hearing aids and any broken or unusable parts of the glasses are recycled as much as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may drop your donations into Lions boxes located at the following places: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
