The Northwest State Community College Board of Trustees met in regular session on Friday, June 24 on the Archbold campus. After roll call, Robbin Wilcox, NSCC Executive Director for Development & NSCC Foundation and Foundation Board Chair Peter Beck presented the Board with a record-setting check in the amount of $1,139,450. The money is designated for student scholarships, equipment, outreach programs and student support efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OVER $7 MILLION HAS BEEN PROVIDED\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over $7 million has been provided through the generosity of businesses and individuals who have supported the Foundation over the past ten years. Peter Beck, NSCC Foundation Board Chair, applauded the generosity of individuals and businesses who have donated to the NSCC Foundation, for helping make this presentation possible. Beck also gave kudos to Robbin Wilcox for her tireless work in raising funds and awareness to help aid student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the promotion of Michael Foreman to Acting Chief of Police and Ashlyn Cox to Director of Financial Aid<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the employment of Dr. Tiffany Ludwig for Dean of Nursing and Allied Health, Dr. Jon Tomlinson for Dean of Van Wert Campus, Krista Maassel for Bookstore Clerk Retail & Food Service Assistant, and Shantelle Cline for Campus Police Officer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the renewal of probationary faculty and non-teaching faculty contracts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the 2022-2023 budget<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the 2022-2023 student fees<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved salary increases for part-time faculty \u2013 initial placement on a pay scale will be determined by current criteria of academic degree held, and work experience, and advancement on the scale is determined by number of credit hours taught<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved a new policy \u2013 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved the College Master Plan (prioritizing deferred maintenance needs and optimizing academic spaces to enhance student experience and increase student success)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Approved Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) Completion Plan<\/p>\n\n\n\n
