The Paulding County Retired Teachers Association recently awarded $200 scholarships to nine Paulding County high school seniors planning to enter the field of education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recipients from Paulding High School were Brooke-lyn Ankney and Ella Cook. Brooke-lyn is the daughter of Wendy Groves and Randy Ankney. She plans to attend Owens Community College on the transfer path to Bowling Green State University where she will major in Primary Education. Ella, the daughter of Allen and Casey Cook, plans to attend Ohio Northern University to major in Early Childhood Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recipient from Wayne Trace High School was Rachel Stoller. Rachel is the daughter of Neil and Sandy Stoller. She plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne where she will major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recipients from Antwerp High School were Mia Altimus, Lydia Brewer, Summer Franklin, Luke Krouse, Alexandra Lehman, and Allison Reinhart. Mia Altimus is the daughter of Drew and Erica Altimus. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. Lydia Brewer, the daughter of Shawn and Cindy Brewer, plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Middle Childhood Education. Summer Franklin is the daughter of Sara Morales and Brad Franklin. She plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne where she will major in Elementary Education. Luke Krouse is the son of Mike and April Krouse. His plans are to attend Bowling Green State University where he will major in Intervention\/Special Education. Alexandra Lehman, the daughter of Dan and Laurel Lehman, plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Special Education. Allison Reinhart is the  daughter of Joe and Michelle Reinhart. She plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne where she will major in Elementary Education. The members of the Paulding County Retired Teachers Association hope these scholarships will provide help and encouragement to the students as they pursue their educational careers. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
