Van Wert High School would like to invite community members to experience the Living Literature presentations on Monday, May 16 in VWHS room 102. Juniors in Mrs. Wilhelm\u2019s English 11 class have been studying various works of literature, and the culminating event is a 3-D experience representing a scene from one of the literary works they analyzed this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student groups select a scene from a work of literature they studied and create backdrops, bring in props, and create a \u201cliving\u201d scene. Ranging from poetry to drama to short stories, some of the Living Literature scenes could be depicted from several literary works including \u201cCasey at Bat\u201d, Hamlet, or \u201cA Rose for Emily\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Living Literature presentations will be available for viewing from 8:05-8:30, 8:55-9:18, 11:05-11:30, and 2-2:20.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
