Led by District Media Specialist, Mrs. Nellie Schmidt, and Library Assistant, Mrs. LeAnn German, the goal is to lift up and celebrate each student and staff member for his or her unique qualities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a hard year and it\u2019s important to remember we all have meaning and purpose,\u201d Mrs. Schmidt stated. \u201cI see the middle school as a family, and I want to build on that sense of community to help foster our students\u2019 self-esteem.\u201d Student and staff portraits are displayed throughout the hallways at Van Wert Middle School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project was made possible by the generous donations made by Van Wert Middle School staff members, along with a grant provided by Paulding Putnam Electric\u2019s Operation Round Up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert Middle School is excited to be participating in the #WhyYouMatter project.
