This is a first in New Haven athletics history that two freshmen advance to the State level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>106 \u2013 Julianna Ocampo&nbsp;placed 4th in her weight class for the day at semi-state this past weekend.&nbsp; Julianna is the second female ever to qualify for state and also one of two freshmen to qualify for state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>113 \u2013 Easton Doster placed 3rd in his weight class for the day. He is the second freshman&nbsp;to qualify for state<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>285 \u2013 Josh Clark had an amazing day at semi-state! He pinned the #1 seed then went to pin his way to 3rd place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All three of these bulldog wrestlers will have to wrestle and win their\u00a0first match Friday night to place\u00a0 on Saturday at state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two Bulldog freshmen and one senior will advance to State Wrestling next weekend beginning February 18th.
