Alex went on to play basketball and Sadie is currently a member of the volleyball team at Heidelberg University. Fourth grade students are enjoying the message they are receiving\u00a0from Alex.\u00a0<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Oakwood Elementary held a &#8220;Share Your Passion&#8221; Day on Monday, November 22nd. Many adults from the community came in to share their passion as the students have been learning about people who pursue a passion in their &#8220;7 Mindsets&#8221; lessons.\u00a0Along with Alex and Sadie above, Jaci and Laurie Schlatter with first grader, Preston Schlatter brought in two cakes they decorated. One cake was left as a gift for a student to win. The winner was Isaiah Hopkins, a kindergartener who celebrated his birthday on November 24th.\u00a0Tyler Stork was with his first grade son Easton and another first grader, Alex Manz.
