On Homecoming Night at Keysor Field, the Antwerp Archers were anything but cordial visitors as the blue and white scored the game\u2019s first 39 points and coasted to a 39-14 win over host Paulding Friday night in Green Meadows Conference football action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Archers scored 19 first quarter points to break the game open early, getting their first touchdown on a 63-yard pass from Carson Altimus to Parker Moore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Altimus added a one-yard plunge for a score to extend the Archer lead before Reid Lichty rumbled two-yards to wrap up the opening stanza\u2019s scoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore hauled in a 25-yard scoring strike from Altimus to open the second quarter scoring and the Archers a 21-yard touchdown pass from Altimus to Landon Brewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Archers final score of the night came on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Altimus to Hunter Sproles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paulding scored twice in the fourth quarter, getting a four-yard scramble for a score by Dawson Lamb to get into the scoring column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carter Evans scooted three yards for a Panther touchdown to conclude the game\u2019s scoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antwerp narrowly outgained the Panthers, 217-216, in the contest with the Panthers doubling up the Archers 12-6 in first downs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Altimus finished 11 of 16 through the air for the blue and white, totaling 154 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lamb paced the Panther offense with 57 rushing yards on 20 carries while completing 10 of 19 passes for 116 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brayden Sanders had four receptions for 61 yards to lead Paulding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Panthers, now 0-8 overall and 0-5 in the Green Meadows Conference, will renew another annual rivalry on Friday as Paulding makes the trip south on U.S. 127 to Raider Field where they will battle Wayne Trace (2-6, 2-3 GMC). It will be the final home game for seven Wayne Trace seniors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
