These stars represent the five men who died during WWII within eleven months. They all lived on this street that is only about a mile long in the village.<\/p>\n<p>The VETS \u2013 Continuous Honor committee, after publishing a book about Antwerp Veterans, After 200 Years, Why Freedom Still Rings in Antwerp, Ohio, commissioned West Bend Publishing to make a poster to honor these men. That poster shows the Canal Street Five, heroic men; Sgt. Arthur Muir, Sgt. Dorcy Waters, PFC Forest Ours, Seaman 2nd Class Glenn G. Sudlow and Cpt. Max I.
