“Bud” Mabis<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marion “Bud” Mabis,<\/strong> 83, of Antwerp, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Vancrest of Payne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bud was born in Monroeville, Indiana on April 5, 1938, a son of the late Beatrice Norwood and Merle Mabis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was evident to everyone who knew Bud that his passion in life was God, family and friends. Since Bud never knew a stranger, everyone was his friend. He was a master woodcrafter. He worked at Bill Paige, Don Hallack, Chris Stauffer Builders for 18 years, Schroeder Home Improvement, Mabis Brothers Construction\/Cabinets and then retired from Spec-Temp after 26 years of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary (Butt), to whom he was married to on July 15, 1956; children, Matthew (Jamie Stark), Martha (Stanley) Carr & Mark; sister, Betty Shambaugh; grandchildren, Misty, Chris, Kati, Taylor and great grandson, Hunter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bud was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rolene Parker; grandson, Elmer Carr and siblings, Bob, Don & Darlene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His graveside service is at Wiltsie Cemetery, 7955 Road 51, Payne, Ohio 45880 on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10 am. You may arrive at the cemetery after 9:45 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
