After returning from her service she graduated from the Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse for many years. Later, she received her Masters Degree in nursing education to further serve the nursing community as a teacher. She was also the proud owner and operator of Antwerp Alleys, providing an outlet for the Antwerp community for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She will be sadly missed by her husband, Greg, to whom she was married September, 18, 2017; her children, Philip (Christen) Bauer II, David (Colinda) Bauer, Stephanie (Aaron) Moore, &amp; Steve (Missi) Shull; her siblings, Kevin (Debbie) Gray, Melodie (Mark) Valentine, Monica Sanford, Gary (Kathy) Gray, &amp; Patrick (Kathy) Gray; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild &amp; 3 dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A memorial gathering for Marie will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 2 &#8211; 8 pm, at Hops Place, 518 S.
