Total confirmed cases, deaths, and hospitalizations continue to increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very high exposure and spread conditions have been identified in six counties by ODH<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Limited access to nursing homes and similar facilities continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal Protective Equipment, Mass Fatality, and Medical Surge workgroups continue efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two active RRF remains in-progress; 13 addressed and are no longer active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Agriculture workgroup continues to monitor for issues of concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-congregate sheltering planning and response continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Potential quarantine locations) have been identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homelessness workgroup continues to collaborate on response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Responders have access to information on who has tested positive for COVID-19. (ODH Order)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Limited access to jails & detention facilities continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ODRC staff and incarcerated populations continue to test positive across their statewide facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lance D. Himes, interim director of the Ohio Department of Health, has released Halloween guidance at https:\/\/coronavirus.ohio.gov\/static\/responsible\/celebrating-halloween.pdf, urging all Ohioans to use caution and plan ahead for celebrating Halloween amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decisions on whether to participate in Halloween festivities should be made by local communities, individuals, and parents\/guardians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always follow current state public health orders and rules\/regulation established by your local community, and check the Ohio Public Health Advisory System at https:\/\/coronavirus.ohio.gov\/wps\/portal\/gov\/covid-19\/public-health-advisory-system\/ to determine COVID-19 risk levels in your county before making decisions about Halloween activities. Some communities may choose to cancel Halloween festivities, so check with local sources before making plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
