LETTER TO THE EDITOR<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am watching the 6:00 Trump presser, sadly, he made it all about him. Throw in a dig at a couple governors who asked for help, and got Trump to roll his lip, and talk bad about them, like a 3rd grade bully! It was just a campaign speech without his usual screaming crowd! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As he rambled on about how incredible and wonderful his administration is, not one mention of the nearly 100,000 positive tested COVID19 virus, plus over 1200 dead! No condolences to the families of the dead, no kind words to the sick or their families! No words of encouragement to the doctors and nurses! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whines about the record setting gains during his administration of the stock market that have disappeared. Blames the past administrations for his failed dealings with a sickness that the pandemic illness team he eliminated 2 years ago, could have slowed down or stopped similar to the Ebola virus during the Obama administration, or the SARS virus stopped by the Bush ll administration! This shows how unfit this man is for the most important office in the land, the President of the United States! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I write this Trump is speaking of saving tourist and airlines, which use his hotels and golf courses, which he owes billions on, and without people staying in them will lose money! His creditors will be putting him back into bankruptcy courts, and his empire will fall! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the logic of Trump\u2019s changing the social distancing nationwide! China has also started back to work, and the virus is flaring up again! If Trump gets his way, and people go public again, we will be worse off than China! Comparing this COVID 19 to a flu is like a fly swatter compared to a shotgun! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I don\u2019t agree with gov. DeWine on many issues, at least he has stood tall and did what the medical experts said has needed to be done! Now Trump is bragging about refrigerated trucks to place the dead in? This man has no conscious, no heart, no morals, no love…except self-love! We need to replace this game show host with a decent, caring and honest person that believes in God, science, and medical experts! I hope the voters on election day remember how Trump has taken our nation down in so many bad ways!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been hearing of a lot of complaints being made about local restaurants being  \u201copen\u201d and \u201cserving people\u201d mainly the Oasis Bar & Grill in Antwerp, OH and some about Antwerp Alleys. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, these places are open, along with other restaurants, but they are CARRY OUT ONLY. The Oasis may look like they have a lot of people inside if you drive by and look at their parking lot, but it is a public parking lot. It does not belong to the Oasis and anybody can park there. The pharmacy is right next door to the Oasis and there are also apartments above the Oasis, pharmacy and above the stores across the street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there \u201copen\u201d sign on? Yes because they are open…for CARRYOUT ONLY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s okay to be concerned and worried about your health with everything going on, but PLEASE make sure your information is correct before calling to report a business not being in compliance with the governor\u2019s orders. The police, sheriff and health departments have  a lot to deal with and shouldn\u2019t be burdened with false claims just because you might have a problem with a certain business or because it \u201clooks like\u201d they are open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take precautions, do what YOU need to do to help stop the spread of this virus and stay safe! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
