The new structure will also provide better access across the bridge for pedestrians, bicyclists and those with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The old bridge closed to&nbsp;vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Feb.&nbsp;25&nbsp;for approximately nine&nbsp;months during total reconstruction. Vehicular traffic on all three state routes&nbsp;is detoured onto state Route 281 (Domersville Road) and U.S. 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work on the $8.3 million project began in early 2019.
