We salute the individuals with developmental disabilities from Paulding County, including those who are served through the Paulding County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and we encourage the citizens of the county from this month forward to take the time to get to know individuals with developmental disabilities and what they have to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Adopted this date: March 4, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n IN THE MATTER OF APPROVING \u2018THEN AND NOW\u2019 PURCHASE ORDERS AND PAYMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This 27th day of February, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members present: Roy Klopfenstein, Tony Zartman, Mark Holtsberry and Cindy Peters, Clerk<\/p>\n\n\n\n WHEREAS, the Paulding County Auditor has certified the following \u201cThen and Now\u201d purchase order number and payment included in the Allowance of Claims on February 27, 2019 , Warrants numbered 249457 through 249491 in the amount of $11,400.57; and<\/p>\n\n\n\n WHEREAS, it is certified that both at the time that the contract or order was made (\u201cthen\u201d), and at the time that the County Auditor is completing the certification (\u201cnow\u201d), that sufficient funds were available or in the process of collection, to the credit of a proper fund, properly appropriated and free from any previous encumbrance; and <\/p>\n\n\n\n WHEREAS, pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code \u00a75705.41(D)(1), these purchases must be approved by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners; now, therefore<\/p>\n\n\n\n BE IT RESOLVED, that the Paulding County Commissioners approve the Then and Now Purchase Orders as submitted by the Auditor; and<\/p>\n\n\n\n BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Board of County Commissioners, County of Paulding, State of Ohio concerning the adoption of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Board of County Commissioners, and that all deliberations of this Board of County Commissioners and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section \u00a7121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meeting Notes of Appointments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 Jessica Reinhart and Deb Guilford, Superintendent Paulding County Board of DD met with the Commissioners along with some individuals participating in the early intervention program. The participants explained some of the services that they were getting that were helpful, such as occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech. Ms. Guilford was pleased to announce that March is Development Disability awareness month.
