The Antwerp Athletic Department held its Winters Athletic Awards on Tuesday March 19th. Basketball, Cheerleading and Wrestling coaches each took a turn to boast of their teams\u2019 accomplishments and their athletes achievements.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholar Athletes were announced:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seniors \u2013 Keaton Altimus, Ashton Barnhouse, Kendall Billman, Luke Brewer, Austin Chirgwin, Brett Fulk, Nathan Lee, Aidan McAlexander, Jake Ryan, and Brayton Stuckey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juniors \u2013 Alyvia DeVore, Alyssa Fuller, Heather Oberlin, Chloe Saul, Blake Schuette<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juniors \u2013 Karsyn Brumett, Carlie Hanes, Jayvin Landers, Kendyl Miller, Chloe Saul, and Blake Schuette<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognition was given to several outstanding athletes of the season. Aidan McAlexander wrestled a fantastic year and earned GMC champion, Sectional champion and 5th place at District. Randall Mills wrestled to Sectional champion and District qualifier. Tanner Wentland wrestled all the way to a District qualifier. In basketball, the JV boys team went Undefeated for the season and were the Route 49 champions.
