Wayne Trace Wrestlers competed in the Troy District Wrestling Tournament on March 1-2, 2019 at the Hobart Arena. Wayne Trace had one wrestler moving on to state \u2013 Hunter Long. At Districts, Hunter had the misfortune of breaking his ankle in this final match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunter Long went to the State competition at The Schottenstein Center on March 7 in the 120lb. weight class. In his opening round, his injury inhibited his tremendous talent on the mat and he lost the battle 5-6. It was decided that he would default in the consolation match against Michael Marlin of Lima South Range. Hunter Long is only the 3rd freshman wrestler in Paulding County history to make it to the State level. Great job this season Hunter and to all the High School Wrestlers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
