Barbara M. Hubbell<\/strong>, 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Hickory Creek at Hicksville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Barbara was born on October 9, 1939, the daughter of the late Darwin and Beatrice Hammond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She was united in marriage to Ned A. Hubbell Sr. on January 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Barbara had a passion for teaching Sunday school and children\u2019s church. She also volunteered in the school cafeteria while her children were in school. She was a homemaker, and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, spending time with her family and studying the word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Barb is survived by her children, Allen (Mary Jane) Hubbell, Rebecca Hubbell, Linda (John) Sprinkle, Susan (Thomas) Luderman; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Beth) Hammond and Dennis (Wendy) Hammond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Funeral services for Barb will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville with Pastors Dan Grant and Steve Eyers officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Memorials may be made to Woodburn Christian Children\u2019s Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Online condolences may be shared at www.smithbrownfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hicksville, Ohio Barbara M.
