Grace V. Agler, 97, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Parkview Nursing Center, Edgerton, Ohio.<\/p>\n
She was born on July 12, 1915 in Mark Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Maude (Graves) Gecowets.<\/p>\n
She was a 1933 graduate of Rockford High School, Rockford, Ohio. <\/p>\n
On December 22, 1933 she was united in marriage with Kermit Agler. He died on April 3, 1985.<\/p>\n
Grace was a beautician and owned Gracious Beauty Shop.<\/p>\n
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Hicksville, All Together Club, Garden Club, Grange, and a Charter Member of Hicksville Historical Society.<\/p>\n
Grace is survived by a daughter Louise (Phil) Griffith of Springfield, Ohio, two grandchildren Krista Arbuckle, Derek Griffin; three great grandchildren- Caitlin Arbuckle, Kelsey Arbuckle and Jon Griffith.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers- Richard Gecowets and Jerrold Gecowets.<\/p>\n
Funeral services for Grace will be Friday at 1:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville with one hour visitation prior to the service. Visitation will also be Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00. Pastor James Paulson will officiate.<\/p>\n
Burial will be in Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.<\/p>\n
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Historical Society.<\/p>\n
