WOODBURN – It\u2019s Friday September 14 at the Warrior Etzler Field and the homecoming parade precedes the game. The game follow but is a blowout for the home team.\u00a0 <\/span>Woodlan\u2019s defense limited Southern Wells to a pair of first downs and 47 yards of total offense as the Warriors rolled to a 49-0 win over the Raiders in ACAC football Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Warriors scored twice in the opening quarter and it would be all of the points Woodlan would need.<\/p>\n

Jack Stuckey hauled in a 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ben Reidy to open the game\u2019s scoring. Seb Spieth added a one-yard plunge for a score to put the Warriors on top 15-0 at the end of one quarter.<\/p>\n

Woodlan extended the margin in the second quarter.<\/p>\n

Reidy found Tristen Krohn on a five-yard scoring strike that put the Warriors on top 22-0 but Woodlan wasn\u2019t done.<\/p>\n

Trevor Wallace hauled in Reidy\u2019s third touchdown pass of the contest, this time a 12-yarder, as the Warriors extended the margin to 29-0 at the midway point.<\/p>\n

Reidy and Wallace hooked up in the third quarter on a 20-yard touchdown pass that pushed the Woodlan lead to 36-0.<\/p>\n

Spieth picked up a six-yard scoring strike from Reidy later in the third quarter as the Warriors posted a 42-0 lead at the end of three periods.<\/p>\n

The Warriors closed the scoring on a 39-yard touchdown run by David Rogers-Potter that closed out the Woodlan scoring.<\/p>\n

Reidy finished the night 17 of 22 passing for 248 yards to lead the Warriors while Spieth rumbled for 133 yards on 11 carries.<\/p>\n

Wallace topped the Warriors receivers with seven catches for 131 yards with Stuckey adding six receptions for 73 yards.<\/p>\n

Woodlan returns to action on Friday with a road trip to Jay County, who is coming off of a 63-62 loss to Bluffton. The Patriots are currently 2-3 but were led by quarterback Parker Grimes, who totaled 354 passing yards and 67 rushing yards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
