Ohio Sesquicentennial Farm is an intriguing title for a farm, but it has deep meaning to many in the Zuber family, the Steve and Sandy Zuber family, that is. The farm\u2019s dba is Carryall Farms and Carryall Seeds, and in all the generations of Zuber farming is set to celebrate its 168th year this year.<\/p>\n

Six generations of Zubers have been farmers now and it is ingrained as a family legacy and tradition. The family has Swiss roots from the borders of Germany, and the family emigrated to the USA in 1850.<\/p>\n

Carryall Farms is located outside of Antwerp. Nathan has stepped up and works right alongside his father, Steve, since he was 12 years old. He tried flying solo for a few years, but decided it would be more beneficial to combine efforts with his Dad.<\/p>\n

Nathan had this to say about the significance of the family farm\u2019s historical milestone, \u201cFarming is a family legacy. My dad, Steve, made it something that was fun for a new career. With Grandpa Tom\u2019s tractor in tow, I learned from the best.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nathan has a trucking company on the side, Carryall Trucking. Carryall Seeds also does cover crops, and they are always looking to expand their farming possibilities.<\/p>\n

With family dedication to the farming industry, Carryall Farms \u2014 Ohio Sesquicentennial Farms \u2014 is hoping to pass it onto a future 7th generation of Zubers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
