\"\"Julia Steiner made a presentation at the Antwerp Rotary Club Meeting on Thursday, July 12. Julia is an exchange student for the Rotary Youth Exchange Program preparing to leave for Brazil in the first weeks of August where she will be staying for her Junior year of high school in the city of Contagem. This is in the state of Minas Gerais of the Republic of Brazil.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She said she was looking forward to the food! The culture will be completely new for her as Contagem is a city of 379,044 people, plus she will be living with three host families.<\/p>\n

In Brazil, Julia will be attending a private school where she will be able to participate in activities with the youth of the area. The language she is learning, and will speak, is Portuguese.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While at the meeting, Floyd Ramsier gave her Rotary banners to take with her to present to the host families and the Contagem Rotary Club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
