DEFIANCE – Ayersville rallied with three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and the Pilots made them stand up in a 6-4 ACME baseball victory over Wayne Trace Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
It was the Raiders who took control early, scoring once in the first and three more in the second to take a 4-0 advantage halfway through the second inning.<\/p>\n
However, Ayersville dominated over the next six at-bats.<\/p>\n
The Pilots plated one run each in the second, third and fourth frames before adding three more in the fifth to post the 6-4 victory.<\/p>\n
Brady Fishpaw recorded the complete game win for Ayersville, striking out seven batters while allowing four hits, three walks and four runs.<\/p>\n
Fishpaw and Devan Rue each had doubles for the Pilots with Braydon Amoroso hitting a single and a double. Logan Brown and Blake Eiden also had a single each.<\/p>\n
