Honor Flights take veterans to see the memorials that were built in honor of their service at no cost to the veterans. The Flag City Honor Flight organization is based in Findlay and helps plan trips for veterans from around the region.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a special moment when veterans are able to come to Washington to see the memorials built in honor of their service and sacrifice,\u201d said Latta. \u201cI always cherish being able to shake the hands of Ohio\u2019s veterans and thank them for all they did for their country.
