May began with some stiff county competition in the realm of high school varsity softball action. On Tuesday, May 1st, the Lady Panthers played host to the Wayne Trace Lady Raiders. Game play started off slow, no runs occurred till the bottom of the 3rd inning by the home team. Paulding owned their field claiming more runs in each of the remaining innings. The Lady Raiders attempted to rally in the last inning, but only managed to get 1 run. Final score: Paulding 6, Wayne Trace 1<\/p>\n
