Aidan McAlexander wins his match at the Defiance Districts!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Antwerp Junior Aidan McAlexander made history again this past weekend by becoming the first Archer high school wrestler in program history to qualify for the state tournament.\u00a0 This comes just one week after he was the first sectional champion in school history.\u00a0 McAlexander finished the weekend with 3 wins to only 1 loss and 2 pins to earn a 2nd place finish in the 106-pound weight class. The state tournament runs from Thursday, March 8 through Saturday, March 10 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.\u00a0 McAlexander will carry his impressive 30-3 season record to state with hopes of becoming the first sta\u00adte placer in school history.\u00a0 Congratulations to Aidan for all of his hard work this season and on behalf of everyone in the Antwerp wrestling community we wish you the best at state.<\/p>\n
