<\/a>Robert \u201cBing\u201d Bissell,<\/b> 92, of Payne passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Chandler, AZ Memory Care.<\/p>\nBing was born in Antwerp, Ohio on January 2, 1926, a son of the late Gertrude Hattie (Bissell) Ours and Harry Ronless Bissell.<\/p>\n
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1C in WW II; was a Safety Inspector at International Harvester; lifetime member of the UAW & Antwerp VFW. Bing was a basketball fan who aslo enjoyed men\u2019s softball & archery.<\/p>\n
Bing\u2019s family was special to him; he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Denise (Thomas) Burt of Gilbert, AZ; 3 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Bowers), whom he married July 10, 1948; children, Julie & Leonard and siblings, Flossie Seslar & Betty Bauer.<\/p>\n
Viewing is Thursday,\u00a0 February 1, 2018 at 10 am, Dooley Funeral home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio where Bing\u2019s funeral ceremony will be held at 11 am.<\/p>\n
He will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, with military honors.<\/p>\n
