Meyer,<\/strong> 85, of Antwerp, passed away at home Friday, December 29, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Dorothy was born in Woodburn, Indiana on December 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Hilda (Bohren) and Henry\u00a0 Roemke.<\/p>\n<p>Most of us would remember Dorothy working beside her husband at Antwerp Alleys.<br \/>\nShe was a member of the Antwerp American Legion Auxiliary &amp; Antwerp Conservation Club.<\/p>\n<p>She will be sadly missed by her husband, Virgil, whom she married April 4, 1959; children, Martha Chase of Spencerville, IN, Edward &amp; Patrick (Kim) Meyer both of Antwerp; sister, Darlene Doehrman of Woodburn; grandchildren, Megan, Andrea &amp;\u00a0Ben Chase, Gregg (Nicole) Lamott &amp; David Perez; great grandchildren, Hannah Fields &amp; Isabella Lamott.<\/p>\n<p>Her sisters, Ruth Bennett &amp;\u00a0Joan Geary and grandson, Jonathan Chase have also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p>Her funeral service is 11 AM on Wednesday, January 3rd at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church of Antwerp, with viewing one hour prior.<\/p>\n<p>Viewing is also 4- 8 PM\u00a0on Tuesday, January 2nd at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.<\/p>\n<p>She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials are to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dorothy M.
