\"franklin<\/a>T. Franklin Ferrell, 91,<\/strong> of Grover Hill, OH died Saturday March 30, 2013 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
\nHe was born on August 16, 1921 in Ritchie County, WV to the late Edith (Burdiss) and Raymie Ferrell. He was married to Maxine (Matthews) Ferrell (deceased).
\nHe retired from General Motors in Defiance, OH after 29 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII as a radio operator and gunner with the 386th Bombardment Group in the 552nd Squadron; 1939 graduate of Washington Irving High School in Clarksburg, WV; was a member of the Grover Hill V.F.W. and Lion\u2019s Club.
\nHe is survived by his children: Allison (Earl) McClure, Payne, Tom (Brenda) Ferrell, Grover Hill, and Leslie (Vinal) McClure Grover Hill; a son-in-law, Dick Stahl, New Haven, IN; a sister, Betty Gilroy, Victor, NY; and grandchildren: Carrie (Duane) Sinn, Erin (Tim) Farrell, Matt (Jenni) Ferrell, Nathan Ferrell, Nick (Mary) Ferrell, Thomas Ferrell, and Mitch (LeAnn) McClure.
\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Maureen Stahl; brothers, Charles Ferrell and Walter Lee Ferrell; and a grandson, Bryan Ferrell.<\/p>\n

\nVisitation will be 10:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church. Services are 12:00 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Waldron officiating. Burial in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.
