Former Paulding resident, Mary Ellen Clark<\/b> age 87 died Monday, October 16 at Brookview Health Care Center, Defiance.<\/p>\n
She was born March 5, 1930 in Farmer, Ohio, daughter of the late Jesse \u201cDon\u201d and Mary (Barnes) Gorrell.\u00a0 On April 9, 1951 she married Thomas J. Clark who preceded her in death on April 1, 2001.\u00a0 She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding, and American Legion Auxiliary.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her sons:\u00a0 Tommy (Sandy) Clark, Nashville, TN, Walter (Kathleen) Clark, Paulding, David (Lori) Clark, Paulding, Kent Clark, Scott, James (Terry) Clark, Cecil; a daughter, Marcia (Kent) Schlegel, Wapakoneta; a sister, Naomi Link, Defiance; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
She is also preceded in death by brothers, Lowell Russell, Clifford, Floyd \u201cChuck\u201d and Tom Gorrell; sisters, Donna Belle Gorrell, Josephine Gorrell, Sally Straka and Carolyn Workman.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon, Saturday, October 21 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Deacon Dave Laker officiating.\u00a0 Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be from 10 AM until services on Saturday at the funeral home.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Masses or a charity of the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
