New Haven resident and local business owner Steve McMichael will hold a Press Conference for an announcement seeking the Republican nomination for Mayor of New Haven in 2019. The Press Conference will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16th at the historic City Hall building located at 428 Broadway Street in New Haven.<\/p>\n<p>Steve McMichael has been a successful business owner in New Haven for over 15 years. Mr. McMichael said, \u201cWith the recent announcement from Mayor Terry McDonald that he will not seek a 6th term, the time is right for a new direction, new leadership and a new focus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McMichael added, \u201cThe future of this great city is bright.
