More pictures at westbendnews.net<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>WOODBURN &#8211; Jack Rhoades ran for 188 yards on 26 carries and scored twice to lead the Woodlan Warriors to a 25-3 win over visiting South Adams in high school football action Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>The win by the Warriors (7-1, 5-0 ACAC) sets up a winner take all battle for the Allen County Athletic Conference championship battle at Adams Central (6-2, 5-0 ACAC) on Friday. The Flying Jets stayed unbeaten in league play with a 46-0 win at Bluffton.<\/p>\n<p>Rhoades started the game\u2019s scoring with a ten-yard scamper for a score at the 7:54 mark of the opening quarter to put Woodlan on top 7-0.<\/p>\n<p>Quarterback Justin Durkes picked up the Warriors\u2019 second score of the night on a one-yard plunge that, combined with Ben Reidy\u2019s two-point conversion pass to Aaron Hahn, put Woodlan in front 15-0 with 9:36 left in the half.<\/p>\n<p>Andres Martinez booted a 44-yard field goal to get South Adams on the board at the 1:30 mark of the second stanza to slice Woodlan\u2019s halftime lead to 15-3.<\/p>\n<p>However, Luke Crilly kicked a 36-yard field in the third quarter and Rhoades added a 16-yard scamper for a touchdown to round out the game\u2019s scoring and wrap up the 25-3 Warrior victory.<\/p>\n<p>Durkes finished the contest 7 of 19 passing for 65 yards with Donald Guerrant catching four passes for 34 yards.<\/p>\n<p>Seb Speith led an impressive Warrior defense with nine tackles, including three sacks and four tackles for a loss in total.
